Hostel Internal Rules & Regulations

Guests are invited to read carefully the Rules and the Rates of the hostel.

The entrance for the guests in the hostel entails the full acceptance and subsequent observance of this Regulation.

  1. General:
    • Upon arrival check - in at the front desk for the individual registration, delivering ID card or passport;
    • During your stay you can take only the assigned room and/or bed and the related numbered and pesonal locker;
    • During your stay you must respect the timetables of the hostel and cooperate actively to respect order and cleanliness;
    • On departure return the keys and the air conditioner remote control received upon arrival and be sure to leave the room in the same condition as you found it including its equipment and forniture.
    • Is not possible to stay more than seven days from check-in.
  2. Hostel schedule:
    • Check-in: 10:00 – 18:00
    • Check-out: 10:00
    The rooms of the hostel will not be available from 10:00 to 14:00 for cleaning service.
    The availability of staff is guaranteed 24 hours.
    The price list is displayed at the reception and on website www.ostellopolignanoamare.com.
  3. The payment must be made upon check-in an the receipt must be withdrawn at the time of payment.
  4. In cases where is not returned what stated in paragraph (d) will keep the sum of € 30.00.
  5. For reservations, in case of variations in length of stay,it will not be refunded the deposit paid in advance.
  6. The costs of transfer and the related schedules are regulated separately and displayed on the notice board at the reception.
  7. If the guests wishes to extend their stay must inform the reception staff within 10.00 am of the day prior to the originally scheduled departure in order to obtain information about the availability of rooms or beds for the next few days.
  8. The guest who fails to leave the room and / or the bed and the locker within 10.00 am on departure day, will pay for the next night.
  9. Potential guests without reservations will be accepted by the reception staff depending on the availability and to existing bookings.
  10. Will not be accepted at the Hostel:
    • People without valid ID
    • People in state of confusion, or at least not in conditions of perfect simplicity and cleanliness.
  11. It is not allowed in the rooms receive and host people not registered; is not allowed the entry into rooms other than the assigned one or the one where the bed is assigned; is not allowed to change room and / or beds.
  12. Guests can take advantage of the furniture, equipments, common rooms and any other furnishings of the hostel, as well as energy consumption services (water, heating and electricity), with the utmost respect of all other guests, using the diligence of a good family man. Guests will have to fully compensate any damage caused to furnishings or to the structure.
  13. Guests can not hang wet or moist laundry inside the room. Drying racks to be used outside are available for free.
  14. Guests can not sleep with wet hair. An hair dryer is available (for free) in bathroom. Transgressors will be charged upon receipt of the pillow (€ 5.00).
  15. Guests are expected to have appropriate behavior in community life, both in indoor and outdoor environments of the hostel, therefore based on mutual respect and good manners. In particular inside the hostel it is forbidden::
    • Carry out political propaganda;
    • Consumption of any kind of drugs, substance abuse, smoking;
    • Improper use of equipments, furnishings and fittings, individual or collective;
    • Bring Animals.
  16. Conduct contrary to the Law Rules or the rules of civil life, may be grounds for expulsion from the hostel. In case of violations of the Rules or breach of any of the rules mentioned reserves in the appropriate fora to pursue disciplinary action for any violation or abuse.
  17. Guests together with children and guests at the head of organized groups will be responsible, even legally, also of the behavior and compliance with the rules and regulations of the hostel, respectively, for children and members of their group.
  18. Any complaints or disservices should be immediately reported to management or to staff in charge.
  19. The hostel and its legal representatives do not assume any liability for theft or damage to property stored inside, let alone in the vehicle and the items left in vehicles parked inside of the hostel, as well as for accidents or injury caused by guests.
